| The mission of the San Francisco Civil War Round Table (SFCWRT) is to promote a positive learning environment for those interested in the Civil War. Meetings are held on the third Thursday of every month, except for July and August, at the United Irish Cultural Center, 2700 45th Avenue, San Francisco. The usual meeting schedule is: 6:00pm no-host cocktails 6:45pm dinner 7:45pm program Pre-paid dinner reservations are required. Contact Joan Keller at (415) 752-4156. |

| Civil War Book Bargains at SF Main Library! Through the month of August, the Book Bay at the Grove Street entrance of the library has a large and varied collection of Civil War books for sale at bargain-basement prices. |
